About the Role

As a Registered Nurse New Graduate Medicine, you will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care across adult acute care medicine units, including settings with telemetry monitoring and renal specialty focus. This position is designed for newly licensed nurses ready to apply their education in a supportive hospital setting where mentorship and professional development are part of the daily experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on acute care medicine units, including those requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Assess patient conditions, document observations accurately, and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments in line with established clinical protocols and physician orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the broader care team to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Support patients and families with education, comfort, and clear communication throughout their stay.
• Contribute to a safe, organized unit environment while developing your clinical judgment through hands-on practice.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current or pending Registered Nurse (RN) licensure as required for practice in Connecticut.
• Interest in adult acute care, medicine, telemetry, or renal specialty nursing.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn within a team-oriented, fast-paced hospital setting.
