About the Role
As part of the Oracle Health Federal Testing Team, you will help lead a Testing and Quality Assurance portfolio focused on validating changes to Cerner Millennium software for federal clients. The objective is straightforward but demanding: confirm that the system performs exactly as designed and stop defects from slipping into production releases. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of testing activities for Cerner Millennium software implemented by federal clients.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute testing across a wide range of software changes and enhancements.
- Verify that system functionality aligns with design requirements before each release.
- Identify, document, and help resolve defects ahead of production deployment.
- Partner with quality assurance teammates and stakeholders to uphold high standards of software reliability.
Qualifications
- Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test portfolio leadership.
- Familiarity with healthcare information systems, ideally Cerner Millennium, is a strong advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to trace functionality back to documented requirements.
- Clear communication and coordination skills for working across testing teams and client stakeholders.
- Willingness to work on-site in Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, supporting federal engagements.
