About the Role
The Youth & Family Case Management Service provides intensive, outreach-based support to children, young people, and their families across the ACT. The role focuses on assisting families experiencing complex challenges such as homelessness, unemployment, substance use, domestic and family violence, and trauma. Support is provided to children and young people involved with the child protection system.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide intensive case management services to children, young people, and their families
- Assist families experiencing complex challenges such as homelessness, unemployment, substance use, domestic and family violence, and trauma
- Support children and young people involved with the child protection system
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders including families, community services, and government agencies
What You Bring
- A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with children, young people, and their families
- Demonstrated ability to provide case management services to individuals and families facing complex challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to cultural safety and diversity in the workplace
