The Opportunity

The Family Integration Specialist (FIS) is a crucial role within our treatment team. As an FIS, you will provide therapeutic support to children and youth requiring specialized residential or community-based behavioral health services. You will collaborate with foster families, birth families, Case Coordinators, Program Managers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure the best possible care for each child.

Your Responsibilities

• Assessing the needs of children and youth in therapeutic foster care settings
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with input from all relevant parties
• Maintaining open communication between foster families, birth families, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to care
• Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster parents in managing challenging behaviors and fostering positive relationships
• Collaborating with Case Coordinators and Program Managers to ensure alignment of treatment goals and services

Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required; master’s preferred
• Experience working with children and families in therapeutic settings is essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration
• Proficiency in case management software and electronic health records systems is advantageous
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required due to the nature of the work involving home visits and other fieldwork
