KMC Solutions Inc is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our creative team and produce engaging video content for social media platforms and brand campaigns across the United States. In this full-time role, you'll transform raw footage into polished, platform-optimized videos that resonate with audiences and achieve strategic brand objectives.

Role Overview

As our Video Editor, you'll be the creative force behind compelling video narratives. Working with footage sourced from internal production teams and external client submissions, you'll craft content tailored for diverse digital platforms. Your role bridges technical expertise with creative storytelling, ensuring every project aligns with brand voice while maximizing audience engagement across channels.

Core Duties

• Edit and produce short-form video content optimized for Reels, TikToks, and similar formats
• Create and refine long-form videos including YouTube content, interviews, testimonials, and promotional materials
• Integrate graphics, overlays, subtitles, text animations, transitions, and audio to enhance visual storytelling
• Adapt long-form content into multiple short-form versions tailored for specific platforms and audience segments
• Execute color correction, audio mixing, and final polish on all video deliverables
• Partner with creative, marketing, and social media teams to translate strategic direction into finished video assets
• Manage multiple concurrent projects under competing timelines while maintaining quality standards
• Research and implement current trends in social video, platform-specific best practices, and emerging editing techniques
• Maintain organized systems for video asset storage, version control, and team access

Who We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of documented video editing experience in professional settings such as agencies, content studios, or in-house brand teams
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve preferred
• Demonstrated competency in motion graphics, basic animation principles, and audio design
• Portfolio or video reel that illustrates creative editing choices, pacing control, and versatility across styles
• Solid understanding of platform-specific requirements and content conventions for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and deliver under tight project deadlines
• Clear communication skills with capacity to receive constructive feedback and iterate quickly
