Working Student – Graphic Design E-Commerce (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce company in Berlin that is seeking a Working Student in Graphic Design to join their in-house creative team. This is an excellent opportunity for a design student to gain hands-on experience creating visual content for consumer products across European markets.

You will work on real-world projects including packaging design, product photography retouching, Amazon listings, and social media content that reaches thousands of customers. This role offers direct mentorship from experienced designers and exposure to modern AI-powered creative workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create and adapt packaging designs, user manuals, and product illustrations
• Retouch and edit product photography in Adobe Photoshop
• Design marketing graphics and product images for e-commerce platforms
• Adapt existing designs and content for different products, languages, and markets
• Support creation of visuals for social media and marketing materials
• Use modern AI tools to support image creation, editing, and creative workflows
• Contribute ideas and help maintain consistent branding across products

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in graphic design, media design, communication design, or comparable field
• First practical experience in graphic design through university projects, internships, freelance work, or previous positions
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience with Figma or similar design tools
• Good eye for layout, typography, composition, and attention to detail
• Interest in e-commerce, product design, and modern consumer brands
• Curiosity about AI tools and willingness to integrate them into creative workflows
• Ability to work independently, reliably, and take ownership of tasks
• Very good German and English language skills
• Portfolio or examples of design work required with application
