Webpage Lead – WordPress at Retail Insights

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential events and media organization seeking a Webpage Lead to take full ownership of their WordPress platform in London. This is an in-office role based near Victoria Station, offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

As Webpage Lead, you will own the technical direction and day-to-day management of the company website. Your core responsibilities include:

• Improving overall performance and functionality of the WordPress website
• Developing an effective platform for sharing information with key stakeholders
• Optimizing site structure, navigation, and content display
• Working cross-functionally to identify business needs and drive growth through website improvements
• Providing technical support to internal teams experiencing website-related issues

What We're Looking For

Our client requires extensive WordPress knowledge and the ability to demonstrate your work through a portfolio or examples. We're seeking candidates who possess:

• Technical expertise: Deep knowledge of WordPress development, customization, and optimization
• Proven experience: Portfolio demonstrating WordPress projects you've built or managed
• Ownership mindset: Proactive approach with follow-through on commitments
• Strong communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for cross-team collaboration

This is an in-office position Monday through Friday at the London office near Victoria Station. Remote work is not available for this role.
