UAV Repair and Maintenance Technician (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential aerospace technology client seeking a skilled UAV Repair and Maintenance Technician to join their operations team in Gilching, Bayern, Germany. Our client develops advanced unmanned aerial systems for professional applications and operates in a dynamic, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of unmanned aerial vehicles
• Conduct fault analysis and systematic diagnostics of mechanical and electronic assemblies
• Repair and replace components including motors, sensors, and electronic modules
• Execute soldering and crimping work on electronic assemblies
• Calibrate, test, and release serviced systems for operational deployment
• Maintain careful and traceable documentation of all work performed
• Support the development of maintenance and repair manuals
• Analyze and document fault patterns in collaboration with support and engineering teams

What We're Looking For

• Completed technical training in electronics, mechatronics, precision mechanics, or comparable qualification
• Strong fine mechanical skills and manual dexterity
• Solid knowledge of electronics, particularly soldering and crimping techniques
• Basic knowledge of composite materials and repair methods
• Structured, careful, and self-reliant working approach
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Team-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
