About the Role
This is a full-time, over-the-road (OTR) position operating dry van trailers for U.S. Xpress - OTR out of Siluria, Shelby County. Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport dry van freight across long-haul OTR routes
- Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance needs
- Keep accurate logs and communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time delivery
- Average roughly 2,000 miles per week as a solo driver, or up to 5,000 miles per week when running as a team
Qualifications

- Willingness to run OTR routes with dry van equipment

Pay & Earnings
- Solo drivers: 56–60 CPM based on experience, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus
- Guaranteed weekly minimum pay of $1,400* on a 12-days-out, 2-days-home schedule
- Top 20% of OTR solo drivers earn around $1,650 per week
- Team drivers: $5,000 sign-on bonus (split) plus a starting split of $0.72–$0.80 CPM
