Director of Operations – Regional

Alff Construction is hiring a full-time Director of Operations – Regional in Boston, Suffolk County to lead multi-site production and drive operational excellence across our liquid de-icing manufacturing network.

About the Role

As the Director of Operations – Regional based in Boston, Suffolk County, you will take ownership of every operational function within an assigned territory. Reporting on the performance of multiple manufacturing facilities, you will ensure that the production, quality assurance, and distribution of liquid de-icing products run smoothly, consistently, and at scale. This on-site leadership position is central to keeping our regional operations efficient, dependable, and ready to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all day-to-day operational activity throughout a defined regional territory.
• Supervise Regional Managers and the manufacturing sites under their care, holding each accountable for results.
• Guarantee the efficient manufacture, quality control, and timely delivery of liquid de-icing products.
• Promote consistent standards and repeatable processes across every facility in the region.
• Identify opportunities to improve throughput, reliability, and scalability as demand expands.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience overseeing operations or manufacturing across multiple locations.
• A track record of managing managers and developing high-performing site teams.
• Strong command of production planning, quality control, and supply-chain delivery.
• The analytical mindset to standardize processes and scale output without sacrificing quality.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel within the assigned territory as operations require.
