About the Role
As a Travel Radiology Sonographer, you'll deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This day-shift role operates on a 12-hour, 3-day per week schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, providing flexibility alongside consistent hours. You'll work closely with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate imaging studies that directly impact patient diagnosis and care planning.
What You'll Do
- Operate advanced ultrasound equipment to capture clear, diagnostic-quality images across multiple anatomical regions
- Document findings systematically within the EPIC electronic health record system
- Collaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging protocols and image quality
- Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout examination procedures
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and imaging standards
- Support departmental efficiency and quality metrics
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of professional sonography experience in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated expertise with ultrasound imaging equipment and systems
- Proficiency with electronic medical records, particularly EPIC
- Strong computer and digital literacy skills
- Current sonographer credentials or certification (preferred)
