About the Role
This travel PT position is based in San Bernardino, San Bernardino County and is scheduled as a day-shift role running five 8-hour shifts per week. The contract runs for 13 weeks with a start date of July 20, 2026, giving you a clear timeline to plan your next assignment with confidence.
What You'll Do
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and establish individualized, goal-oriented physical therapy treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately in the facility's EMR system, adjusting plans of care as clinically indicated
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient-centered care
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and safe activity progression
- Maintain compliance with California PT licensure requirements, facility protocols, and Joint Commission standards
What We're Looking For
- Active Physical Therapist license in California (or eligibility to obtain one prior to the start date)
- Graduate degree from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills across a variety of patient populations
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environments
- Prior travel therapy experience is a plus, though motivated new travelers are welcome
