As a travel contract, it offers experienced RNs the chance to grow their skills while exploring a new community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
- Assist the IR team with image-guided, minimally invasive interventions.
- Monitor patient status, vital signs, and recovery throughout each case.
- Administer medications and moderate sedation in line with facility protocols.
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly with physicians and the wider clinical team.
- Uphold safety, infection-control, and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license valid for practice in Alabama.
- Demonstrated experience as a registered nurse in interventional radiology.
- Current BLS/ACLS certification as required by the facility.
- Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a travel nursing environment.
- Availability to commit to a 13-week, 40-hour-per-week, day-shift schedule on-site in Montgomery.
