You can expect 40 hours per week across 8-hour day shifts, giving you a consistent daytime schedule throughout the contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration and symptom management
- Monitor patient status, document assessments, and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care during therapy
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment
- Uphold infection-control, safety, and quality standards specific to oncology units
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts
- Demonstrated clinical experience in oncology nursing
- Availability to commit to the full 13-week assignment beginning July 13, 2026
- Willingness to work 8-hour day shifts totaling 40 hours weekly, on-site in Boston
- Strong assessment, communication, and adaptability skills suited to a travel role
