About the Role

Elite Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a specialized travel placement in Waterbury. This temporary position is ideal for allied health professionals looking to expand their experience across different healthcare settings. The 13-week assignment begins July 6, 2026, with a full-time schedule structured around 10-hour day shifts and a 40-hour work week.

What You'll Do

• Assist interventional cardiologists during cardiac catheterization procedures and coronary interventions
• Prepare and maintain specialized catheterization equipment and monitoring systems
• Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses throughout procedures
• Maintain strict sterile technique and infection control protocols
• Manage and document procedural details with precision and accuracy
• Collaborate with cardiology teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide patient education and procedural support before and after interventions

What We're Looking For

• Current RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) certification or equivalent credentials
• Minimum 2–3 years of active catheterization laboratory experience
• Comprehensive understanding of cardiac anatomy and interventional procedures
• Demonstrated proficiency with cardiac monitoring and digital imaging equipment
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to function effectively in high-acuity environments
• Physical capability to stand throughout extended shifts and handle equipment demands
• Valid driver's license and availability to complete the full 13-week assignment
• Flexibility with day shift hours in a structured full-time framework
