About the Role
The Transportation Specialist plays a critical role in our Interim Housing Services team at the Bridges at Kraemer location, directly supporting guests as they work toward stable housing and break cycles of homelessness. You'll operate company vehicles to transport residents and their belongings to essential appointments, community resources, and destinations that advance their housing stability and independence.
What You'll Do
- Safely operate company vehicles and transport passengers in a courteous, professional manner aligned with all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist passengers with boarding and securing personal items of up to 25 pounds
- Maintain daily communication with office staff and fellow drivers to coordinate schedules and respond to operational needs
- Complete routine vehicle maintenance coordination and documentation to ensure fleet reliability
- Provide direct, respectful support to clients experiencing housing instability and homelessness
What We're Looking For
- Valid California Class C Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Reliable personal transportation and proof of insurance
- Ability to pass background screening, tuberculosis testing, and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain or maintain CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and populations
- Commitment to ethical, professional service with genuine respect for client dignity
- Attention to detail and ability to operate vehicles safely and maintain accurate records
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of professional driving, transportation, or human services experience

Position Details
Full-time, non-exempt position based in Anaheim, Orange County, California. Compensation: $21.00–$26.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Multiple shift options available including Sunday–Thursday and Tuesday–Saturday schedules ranging from early morning to evening hours.
