As Transmission Department Manager for the Southeast Region, you will oversee departmental operations, guide a talented team of engineers and technical professionals, and ensure the successful execution of transmission-related projects. This position bridges technical expertise with people leadership, requiring a strategic mindset and hands-on management capability.

What You'll Do

• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams including new graduates, interns, transfers, and contract professionals
• Provide coaching and performance feedback that fosters professional growth and accountability
• Partner with Human Resources and Recruiting to identify and attract skilled talent aligned with departmental needs
• Oversee technical project delivery and quality standards across the Southeast Region
• Manage departmental budgets, resources, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and regional leaders
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational standards

What We're Looking For

• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams
• Technical background in transmission systems, electrical engineering, or related field
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and retain talent
