About the Role

As an Assistant Construction Manager - Power with Burns & McDonnell in Wellston, Saint Louis County, you will work alongside senior construction leadership to keep power projects on track from start to finish. You will partner closely with the Construction Project Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager, and the Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) Project or Program Manager, contributing to the daily execution of project goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day oversight of project safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Assist with cost control, budgeting, and tracking project financials.
• Help administer contracts and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Contribute to procurement activities, proposals, and project estimates.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and support the turnover process.
• Aid in client communication and serve as a reliable point of coordination on site.

Qualifications

• Interest in or experience within power or construction project environments.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail across schedules, costs, and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations as needed.
