Burns & McDonnell is hiring a full-time Assistant Electrical Detailer based in the Village of Los Ranchos, Bernalillo County, supporting project teams in both Phoenix and Albuquerque. About the Role

As an Assistant Electrical Detailer at Burns & McDonnell, you will help develop project plans and create non-routine technical drawings that often include complex details. Working from rough sketches, written engineering notes, or brief verbal direction, you will turn early-stage concepts into clear, accurate deliverables. This position contributes to a broad and diverse portfolio, giving you the chance to build experience across multiple disciplines and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with developing plans and detailed electrical drawings.
• Prepare non-routine drawings that incorporate complex features and components.
• Interpret rough sketches, engineering notes, and verbal instructions to produce finished documentation.
• Support a full range of drawing production tasks from start to completion.
• Generate project deliverables across a varied mix of project types and clients.
