About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential coaching platform in search of experienced Technical Program Management Coaches to work with career-focused professionals. Our client connects ambitious individuals with expert guidance as they navigate career transitions and skill development in the tech industry.
As a coach, you'll work one-on-one with students and professionals building careers in technical program management. This is a flexible, independent contractor role where you set your own schedule and rates while delivering high-impact coaching sessions virtually.
Responsibilities
- Teach core technical program management competencies including agile methodology, scrum, stakeholder management, and resource allocation
- Guide students through risk management and quality assurance frameworks
- Provide practical, hands-on skill building exercises and real-world application
- Conduct resume reviews, cover letter development, and LinkedIn profile optimization
- Deliver interview preparation and salary negotiation coaching
- Support promotion strategy development and networking guidance
- Advise professionals pursuing freelancing or independent work paths
- Host virtual coaching sessions on your own schedule
- Partner with the internal team to maintain a high-quality student experience
What We're Looking For
- Professional experience in technical program management roles
- Prior coaching, mentoring, or teaching experience
- Clear, structured approach to breaking down complex technical and organizational concepts
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt teaching style to individual needs
- Understanding of modern agile and scrum methodologies
- Experience with stakeholder management in technical environments
- Knowledge of current tech industry hiring practices and career development strategies
- Ability to work independently and manage your own coaching practice
