Teamleiter Robotermontage (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential advanced manufacturing organization seeking a Robotics Assembly Team Leader (m/f/d) in Kaufbeuren, Bavaria. This role leads production teams in shift operations, ensuring delivery targets are met with respect to timelines, quality, and cost efficiency.

• Lead and manage an assembly team operating in shifts, ensuring production performance meets established targets
• Monitor and secure the production schedule, including capturing and evaluating actual performance, analyzing deviations, reporting, and initiating corrective measures while tracking key performance indicators
• Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety regulations, accident prevention guidelines, and adherence to legal standards and directives
• Prepare and conduct daily production shopfloor meetings
• Apply and implement Lean Production principles and continuous improvement processes (KVP) consistently
• Generate technical and specific requirements from a manufacturing perspective and optimize equipment operation procedures
• Manage personnel planning within the assembly team for shift operations, including vacation and absence scheduling
• Fine-tune production orders, assign priorities, and coordinate with adjacent departments

What We're Looking For

• Initial leadership experience in an industrial environment
• Several years of experience in electromechanical assembly
• Completed technical or business Bachelor's degree, or training as a state-certified technician/master in electrical engineering or mechatronics
• Experience with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and EN 9100 standards
• Proficiency in quality techniques and methods such as FMEA, 8D reports, root cause analysis, SPC, Fishbone analysis, and MSA
• Confident use of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and SAP (Jira desirable)
• Very good German and English language skills
• Quality-oriented, analytical approach with the ability to quickly grasp new, complex situations
• As a leader, you demonstrate both team capability and independent working style with strong assertiveness
