Teamleiter Last Mile Logistik (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential last-mile logistics organization seeking a Team Leader to manage their distribution hub in München. In this role, you will oversee the final stage of the supply chain, ensuring goods reach customers on time and in perfect condition.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and coach your team to success. Plan team-building events to strengthen collaboration and morale.
• People Development: Manage shift schedules, train drivers, and develop team members to ensure smooth daily operations at the hub.
• Delivery Management: Take ownership when delivery trucks arrive with fresh goods. Coordinate quick resupply when needed and maintain full oversight of hub logistics.
• Process Management: Keep operations running smoothly by monitoring KPIs and ensuring all activities follow safety-first protocols.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with customer success teams, central warehouses, and other hubs to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Punctual Dispatch: Ensure drivers depart on schedule to meet promised delivery windows.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas for electric vehicle maintenance coordination, hub layout optimization, driver recruitment, and logistics process enhancements.

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or vocational training in logistics, retail, or related fields
• Previous team leadership experience, either professionally or through coaching other successful teams
• Fluent German and basic English language skills
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Strong communication skills and confident presence
• Data-driven decision-making approach using numbers and facts
