Teamleiter Last Mile Logistik (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Last Mile Team Leader for their Frankfurt an der Oder distribution hub. In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop your team: Recruit, onboard, and coach drivers to success while organizing team-building events to strengthen cohesion
• Manage shift operations: Create schedules, oversee driver training and development, and ensure smooth daily operations at the hub facility
• Coordinate incoming deliveries: Take ownership when supply trucks arrive with goods, verify shipments, and quickly arrange supplemental deliveries when needed
• Drive operational excellence: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) continuously and maintain safe, efficient processes with a "Safety First" approach
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with customer success teams, the central warehouse, and other hub locations to deliver exceptional service
• Ensure timely departures: Keep drivers on schedule to meet customer delivery windows consistently
• Contribute strategically: Share ideas on vehicle maintenance coordination, hub layout optimization, driver recruitment, and process improvements

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or vocational training in logistics, retail, or related fields
• Previous team leadership experience, either professionally or in coaching/mentoring roles
• Fluent German and basic English language skills
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Strong communication skills and confident presence
• Data-driven decision-making approach using numbers and metrics
