Team- & Projektleitung Tech Services (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential manufacturing organization seeking a Team and Project Lead for Tech Services in Wetzlar. In this role, you will:

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects in close collaboration with international teams
• Take ownership of operations and continuous development of IT infrastructure across the EMEA region, including networks, servers, cloud services, end-user devices, and collaboration and communication solutions
• Lead and develop the IT infrastructure team, including conducting employee reviews, coaching, talent management, and succession planning
• Plan, monitor, and optimize the IT infrastructure budget with regular reporting
• Ensure smooth IT operations through incident and service management, working with internal and external service providers
• Maintain compliance with IT security and information security standards and implement corresponding policies
• Define, monitor, and continuously improve service levels (SLAs), KPIs, and quality standards
• Manage software licensing and procurement of IT hardware, software, and services
• Develop and implement standards, processes, and best practices for a high-performing and future-proof IT landscape

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification with several years of professional experience with server and network infrastructures
• Proven experience in project work and project leadership
• Strong experience with collaboration solutions (preferably M365) and virtualization platforms such as VMWare systems
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networks, LAN/WAN, switches and routers, telephony solutions, IP phones, and cybersecurity tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and team orientation
• Fluent German and very good English language skills are mandatory
