Teacher – Advanced Academics Specialist (2026-27)

Clear Creek ISD in Houston, Harris County, is seeking a dedicated Teacher - Advanced Academics Specialist (2026-27) to join our faculty as a full-time educator committed to advancing student achievement and fostering intellectual growth.

In this full-time position, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering high-impact learning experiences that challenge and support students at all levels. Whether instruction takes place in the classroom or through distance learning environments, your expertise will help students develop the academic foundations and critical thinking skills they need to thrive.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement rigorous, evidence-based lesson plans that accelerate academic achievement and align with district standards
• Use formative and summative assessment data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Provide differentiated instruction and targeted support to help each student reach their academic potential
• Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and administrators to identify student strengths and support meaningful academic growth
• Maintain regular, constructive communication with families about student progress and learning goals
• Contribute to a culture of continuous professional growth through participation in professional development and collaborative planning

What We're Looking For

• Valid Texas teaching certification and a bachelor's degree
• Strong content knowledge and mastery of your subject area
• Demonstrated ability to teach diverse learners and adapt instruction to meet individual needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to student success and a positive school culture
