Clear Creek ISD is seeking a Lunchroom Monitor for the 2026-27 school year to support a safe, orderly, and inclusive dining environment in Friendswood, Galveston County. This is a part-time position dedicated to fostering student well-being and positive behavior during meal times.
About the Role
As a Lunchroom Monitor, you'll be instrumental in creating a calm, supervised space where students can eat and interact constructively. Working directly with students and collaborating with campus staff, you'll help reinforce behavioral expectations while keeping students secure and supported throughout lunch periods.
What You'll Do
- Supervise students throughout lunch periods, ensuring adherence to campus behavior expectations and safety protocols
- Maintain a welcoming, organized dining environment that encourages positive peer interactions
- Address behavioral concerns calmly and fairly, using clear communication to guide student conduct
- Report safety issues or significant incidents to campus administration promptly
- Support Clear Creek ISD's mission by modeling professionalism and contributing to a inclusive school culture
- Assist with basic crowd management and ensure efficient lunch transitions
