About the Role

As a Hiker, also known as a Vehicle Transporter or Truck Driver, you will move vehicles between Penske locations and Penske customers throughout the Medford, Middlesex County area. This part-time role centers on delivering vehicles where they are needed and returning them once a job is complete, keeping Penske's fleet in the right place at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver vehicles to Penske branches and customer sites
• Return vehicles to designated Penske locations after use
• Primarily operate box trucks measuring up to 26 feet
• For CDL Class A holders, move tractors and trailers as assigned
• Conduct safe driving practices and basic vehicle checks during each transport

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license; a CDL Class A is required for tractor and trailer assignments
• Comfort operating box trucks up to 26 feet in length
