About the Role

As Field Human Resources Manager at Penske Logistics, you're the HR strategic partner for a defined operational territory. You'll own the complete employee lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding through career development and retention—while maintaining the policies, compliance standards, and people practices that keep our operations running smoothly. This is a hands-on role where HR meets real operational challenges.

What You'll Do

• Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and integration programs that set new associates up for success
• Design and execute retention strategies, identifying at-risk talent and building development pathways
• Build leadership capability through coaching, training programs, and succession planning
• Forecast staffing needs, manage scheduling challenges, and align workforce capacity with operational demand
• Ensure workplace policies comply with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Resolve associate relations issues with fairness, documentation, and coaching-first approach
• Collaborate with operations, safety, and finance teams to align HR initiatives with business goals

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on HR experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environments
• Solid working knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and HR compliance
• Proven ability to design and execute talent development and retention programs
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills—you can earn trust across all levels
• Comfort with HRIS systems and basic HR analytics
• Ability to travel within your assigned territory as needed
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
