About the Role
As a Tax Consultant II in our Global Trade practice, you'll combine deep tax expertise with cutting-edge SAP technology to help multinational organizations navigate complex international trade regulations, tariff classifications, and cross-border transactions. You'll work directly with Fortune 100 and mid-market clients to optimize their global trade positions while ensuring compliance with federal and international requirements.
What You'll Do
- Configure, test, and support SAP Tax modules, with emphasis on Global Trade functionality and international trade compliance features
- Advise clients on trade strategy, customs duties, and tariff classification to minimize tax exposure and regulatory risk
- Conduct global trade compliance audits and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization
- Document and implement tax technology solutions aligned with client business objectives and regulatory obligations
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including technology, accounting, and regulatory specialists—to deliver integrated tax solutions
- Support clients through system implementations, upgrades, and ongoing performance monitoring
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, taxation, business, or related field
- 2+ years of tax consulting, SAP tax module experience, or global trade compliance background
- Strong knowledge of US and international tax law, tariff regulations, or trade compliance
- Technical aptitude and experience with enterprise tax software, ERP systems, or related platforms
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills
- CPA, EA, or advanced tax certification preferred
