Sys Engr – RF Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential aerospace and defense organization seeking a Systems Engineer - RF Engineer for their facility in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. This is an onsite role requiring an active security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Our client designs and develops advanced systems requiring deep expertise in radio frequency engineering. You will join a technical team working on critical projects that demand precision, innovation, and adherence to rigorous standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize RF systems and components for defense applications
• Conduct system-level performance analysis including link budgets, interference analysis, and spectrum management
• Support integration and testing of RF subsystems within larger platform architectures
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including hardware, software, and systems integration
• Document technical specifications, test procedures, and compliance reports
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance throughout development lifecycles

What We're Looking For

• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (required prior to start date)
• U.S. citizenship required (as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance in this role)
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Professional experience in RF system design, analysis, or testing
• Strong understanding of electromagnetics, antenna theory, propagation, and modulation techniques
• Familiarity with RF test equipment and simulation tools
• Ability to work onsite in Highlands Ranch, Colorado
