Sr. Staff Integration Engineer

Formfactor is hiring a Sr. Staff Integration Engineer to join our engineering team in Livermore, CA. This full-time position offers the opportunity to architect and lead complex system integrations at scale, working with cutting-edge technologies and experienced engineering teams.

What This Role Involves

As Sr. Staff Integration Engineer, you'll design and deliver enterprise-grade integrations that connect disparate systems, platforms, and third-party infrastructure. You'll own the full lifecycle of integration solutions—from architectural strategy through deployment—while establishing best practices and technical standards that guide your team. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, requiring both strategic vision and deep implementation expertise.

Core Duties

• Architect and design system integrations across distributed platforms, APIs, and middleware layers
• Lead development and deployment of integration frameworks, data pipelines, and connectivity solutions
• Establish integration standards, patterns, and architectural guidelines for engineering teams
• Collaborate across product, infrastructure, and application teams to solve complex integration challenges
• Conduct rigorous testing, performance tuning, and validation of integration systems under production conditions
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers in advanced integration design and technical decision-making
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and architecture specifications

Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with substantial focus on system integration and architecture
• Expert-level knowledge of API design, microservices patterns, and enterprise integration frameworks
• Proven proficiency in multiple programming languages and modern development ecosystems
• Demonstrated leadership experience guiding technical initiatives and developing engineering talent
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and distributed system design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities applied to complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence across engineering, product, and business teams
