Sr. Manager, T-Line South – Location Flexible

PG&E Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager for T-Line South—a full-time leadership position overseeing transmission infrastructure operations in Sonora, Tuolumne County. Lead engineering teams and critical infrastructure projects across PG&E's service territory.

Role Overview

As Senior Manager of T-Line South, you'll oversee operations, engineering, and maintenance of a major transmission line system serving Northern California. This leadership role combines strategic project management with hands-on oversight of field operations, compliance, and safety initiatives across PG&E's electric engineering business unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct operations and maintenance of transmission infrastructure, ensuring continuous reliable service delivery
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and construction crews across multiple work sites
• Manage capital projects and operational budgets with accountability for cost control and schedule adherence
• Ensure full compliance with FERC, NERC, and California Public Utilities Commission regulations and safety standards
• Develop and execute safety protocols, training programs, and operational procedures for field personnel
• Drive system performance improvements and implement engineering best practices across transmission operations
• Coordinate with planning, field operations, and stakeholder teams across multiple locations
• Monitor system metrics, troubleshoot operational challenges, and report performance to senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technical field
• 10+ years of experience in electric utility operations, transmission systems, or related engineering roles
• Demonstrated track record leading technical teams and large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of FERC standards, NERC reliability requirements, and utility regulatory frameworks
• Proven project management skills with multi-year, multi-million-dollar budgets
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Valid California driver's license
