Production Manager

Yellowstone Landscape seeks a hands-on Production Manager to lead field operations in Plainfield, Will County. In this full-time role, you'll oversee daily landscape production, manage crew performance, and ensure client satisfaction on every project.

Position Summary

As Production Manager at Yellowstone Landscape, you'll direct all aspects of on-site landscape production and maintenance services. This is a full-time, field-focused position based in Plainfield, where you'll combine office coordination with hands-on field presence, supervising crews and collaborating directly with clients to deliver exceptional results.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate landscape production crews across assigned properties
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality standards and timeline adherence
• Manage crew schedules, task assignments, and workflow optimization
• Communicate directly with clients to understand project scope, address concerns, and confirm completion
• Monitor equipment and material use, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement solutions
• Maintain safety protocols and compliance standards across all production activities
• Track project progress, document work performed, and prepare production reports

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing teams or crews in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of landscape production practices, equipment, and seasonal operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a physically active role
• Proficiency with scheduling, basic computer systems, and mobile communication tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to model safety practices and enforce compliance across teams
