About the Role

The Spiritual Life Coordinator 2026‑2027 School Year supports the spiritual formation of adolescents by designing and overseeing chapel experiences, Bible‑study groups, pastoral conversations, and outreach initiatives. Working within the Christian Academy School System community, the role helps create an environment where students can explore and deepen their relationship with God.

What You'll Do

• Plan and lead weekly chapel programs for both middle and high school students, selecting speakers, music, and themes that align with the school’s mission.
• Organize a quarterly Bible‑study curriculum, recruiting facilitators, preparing materials, and tracking participation.
• Provide one‑on‑one spiritual guidance and confidential counseling to students seeking support or direction.
• Coordinate service‑learning projects that connect classroom learning with local community needs, partnering with churches and nonprofit organizations.
• Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and parents to integrate spiritual development into academic and extracurricular life.
• Maintain records of attendance, feedback, and outcomes to assess program effectiveness and inform future planning.
• Stay current with best practices in youth ministry and attend relevant professional development opportunities.

What We're Looking For

• A committed Christian with a personal faith walk and experience in youth ministry, campus ministry, or related pastoral work.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to build trusting relationships with teenagers, staff, and families.
• Proven ability to design and execute engaging worship services and Bible‑study sessions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, including comfort with public speaking and written correspondence.
• Familiarity with Indiana educational standards or willingness to learn the context of Christian Academy School System.
• Bachelor’s degree in theology, ministry, education, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to submit to a background check and adhere to the school’s statement of faith.
