Special Officer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Special Officer to support the CEO on high-priority strategic initiatives. This is a rare opportunity for an exceptional generalist who thrives in ambiguity and can drive execution across multiple functions.

In this role, you will work directly with executive leadership on the company's most critical projects—moving fluidly between strategy, operations, product, business development, and special initiatives as priorities evolve. No two weeks will look the same, and you will be entrusted with solving the problems that matter most to the organization.

Location: Remote (China-based candidates only)

Language Requirement: Strong English communication skills required

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the CEO to drive strategic initiatives across the business
• Lead cross-functional projects from concept through execution
• Conduct market, competitive, and business research to support high-level decision-making
• Break down complex problems into clear, actionable plans
• Coordinate execution across product, engineering, operations, finance, and other teams
• Build operating processes that improve speed and execution quality
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions
• Prepare business analyses, presentations, and executive materials
• Support partnerships, investments, fundraising, and other strategic opportunities as needed
• Represent the CEO in meetings and ensure follow-through on key action items
• Take full ownership of critical projects and deliver measurable outcomes

• Must be currently based in China
