Senior Frontend Engineer, Blipay

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization operating in Brazil's alternative lending market. Our client uses real-time financial data and machine learning to provide credit products—including salary advance, FGTS, and consignado—to over 1 million customers who are often overlooked by traditional banks.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll build both the mobile app (React Native) and web interfaces (React/TypeScript) that customers use to access financial products. This is a remote role based in Brazil, with the team gathering twice annually in Campinas and joining two global company offsites each year.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the mobile application in React Native and web products in React and TypeScript, owning your workstreams from design handoff through production
• Ship user interfaces for salary advance, FGTS, and consignado products where clarity and correctness directly impact whether someone receives credit
• Extend a clean-architecture codebase as new products are added, maintaining structure and separation of concerns as the surface area grows
• Work with APIs and the backend-for-frontend (BFF) layer to shape the contracts your screens depend on
• Collaborate directly with product, credit, compliance, and analytics teams; your technical perspective is part of the conversation
• Contribute to code reviews and technical discussions that elevate the work around you

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of combined frontend and mobile engineering experience (if you're close and the rest fits, we encourage you to apply)
• Solid experience with React Native for mobile and React with TypeScript for web
• Hands-on experience with a state management library—the experience matters more than the specific tool
• Comfort with clean architecture and separation of concerns; an instinct for how software scales as products are added
• Working knowledge of backend and BFF concepts—enough to reason about API contracts and where logic belongs
• Fluent Portuguese and advanced English (C1)—collaboration with the broader team happens in English, both written and spoken
• Comfortable using AI-powered development tools as a productivity lever (experience with Claude or similar tools transfers well)
