Solutions Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their EU Investors team in London. Our client serves venture capital, private equity, and private credit funds with a technology platform that enables investment managers to track portfolios, manage investor relationships, and streamline fund operations.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Go-To-Market team during the sales process with investment firms, identifying optimal solutions and demonstrating technical expertise. You will work closely with fund administration and product teams to deliver consultative advice on fund operations, LP communications, and best practices for both emerging and established fund managers.

Responsibilities

• Accompany the Go-To-Market team on client calls to understand customer needs, scope solutions, and communicate business impact to decision makers
• Lead technical aspects of sales cycles, focusing on product and fund accounting knowledge including waterfall structures, financial reporting, and analytics
• Conduct technical product demonstrations for prospects and strategic channel partners
• Provide financial and product expertise to drive progress toward quarterly revenue goals
• Contribute to product roadmap development through in-depth prospect conversations and collaboration with R&D, sales, and delivery leadership
• Support business development activities at partner seminars and industry events
• Deliver technical coaching to Go-To-Market team members as needed

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Qualified accountant with 7+ years of experience in accounting or corporate finance
• In-depth understanding of fund structures in Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Private Credit
• Strong knowledge of back office fund operations and fund administration
• Experience working in private markets within Luxembourg, including familiarity with Luxembourg fund structures and local regulatory environment
• Proven track record in stakeholder management or client relationship management
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with finance and legal executives
• Interest in software products designed to solve technical financial problems

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in a SaaS customer-facing role
• Background in fund accounting or fund administration
• Knowledge of European Alternative Funds regulations
