About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential SaaS organization headquartered in Paris that is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Java. This is a permanent contract role based in Paris with up to one day of remote work per week. Our client operates at global scale and is building innovative platform solutions that serve enterprise customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy new business features across the full application stack. Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Building, testing, and shipping features to production through continuous delivery pipelines
• Leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery
• Participating in design sessions with a team of approximately five developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers
• Contributing to technical decisions that shape product direction
• Conducting code reviews and pair programming to maintain high quality standards
• Monitoring and debugging production issues with full ownership of your work
• Engaging in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Contributing to quarterly roadmap planning
• Driving continuous improvement in development processes
• Tracking and analyzing the real-world impact of features you build

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 5 years of professional experience with Java and Spring framework
• Genuine curiosity about AI and its impact on software development practices
• Interest in working on web-scale challenges and distributed architectures
• Strong commitment to clean, well-crafted code
• Desire to have meaningful input on technical decisions
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, demanding environments
• Hunger to learn and continuously improve your craft
• Fluency in French and professional proficiency in English

Technical environment: Java 21, Spring Boot, Kafka, React/Redux, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud
