About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential video production agency that partners with social media teams to deliver high-quality edited content. Our talent team is seeking a Social Media Video Editor who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and can handle quick-turnaround projects with professional polish.

This is a remote, freelance opportunity ideal for editors with flexible schedules who enjoy collaborative team environments and want to grow their craft through diverse, challenging projects.

Responsibilities

• Edit social media video content on a per-project basis with varying complexity levels
• Manage tight deadlines, including same-day turnarounds and weekend deliverables
• Correct grammar and punctuation in automated captions to ensure professional quality
• Handle large project files (50+ GB) efficiently
• Communicate proactively with the editing team and project coordinators
• Participate in weekly team meetings (Friday evening PST / Saturday morning Philippines time)
• Maintain consistent quality standards across all deliverables

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro 2026
• Flexible schedule with ability to accommodate last-minute editing requests
• Fluent or near-fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with grammar and captioning accuracy
• Highly communicative team player who values collaboration
• Technical setup capable of handling large file transfers and storage
• Interest in long-term freelance partnership
• Portfolio demonstrating social media video editing experience
