Senior Technical Account Manager (Spanish Speaking)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential database technology organization seeking a Senior Technical Account Manager for the EMEA region. This role requires Spanish language proficiency and serves as the primary technical liaison for enterprise customers implementing open-source database solutions and AI workloads.

Our client works with over 1,500 organizations globally across government, financial services, media, and technology sectors. As Senior TAM, you'll manage relationships with their largest and most complex accounts, serving as a trusted technical advisor who ensures successful implementations and drives continued platform adoption.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior technical leadership at enterprise accounts
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact across all aspects of the database platform
• Provide technical leadership for major customer initiatives, including solution architecture, deployment strategies, and project oversight
• Help customers maximize value from their database investments through best-practice guidance and strategic planning
• Deliver front-line technical support for architecture questions and troubleshooting
• Maintain deep functional and technical knowledge of the complete product portfolio
• Document and share best practices for developing and deploying database solutions
• Provide constructive product feedback to internal teams based on customer requirements
• Travel up to 25% of the time as needed

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 8 years hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, or Microsoft SQL Server
• Professional certifications in relational database technologies highly desirable
• Advanced technical skills in data management platforms, operating systems, cloud technologies, and technical architecture
• Knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML concepts
• Experience with Kubernetes container orchestration
• Strong analytical abilities for technical and project management challenges
• Understanding of strategic sales processes and enterprise account management
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage competing client priorities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including confidence engaging with C-level executives
• Fluency in Spanish and English required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training/experience preferred
