Role Overview
The Senior Software Engineer is a key member of our development team responsible for designing and implementing complex software solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet business needs.
Core Duties
- Analyze requirements, design and develop new features and enhancements in accordance with best practices and industry standards.
- Maintain existing codebases by refactoring, debugging, and fixing issues reported by users or identified through testing.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality software is delivered on time and within budget constraints.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical specifications and timelines for projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience, preferably in a healthcare technology environment.
- Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js and other front-end frameworks.
- Solid understanding of back-end technologies such as Python/Django, PHP/Laravel or similar.
- Adept at database design and management using MySQL, PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
