Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential SAP consultancy seeking a Senior SAP Consultant to lead migration and selective data transition initiatives. In this role, you will:
- Plan and manage Lean Selective Data Transition (SDT) projects within SAP S/4HANA environments
- Develop migration strategies and define the scope of data and objects requiring transfer
- Design and oversee data migrations using SAP standard tools including the SAP Migration Cockpit
- Coordinate the transition of master data, transactional data, historical information, and Business Partners
- Lead test migrations, data validation activities, and reconciliation processes
- Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases to ensure smooth operational transitions
What We're Looking For
Our client requires a consultant with proven expertise in SAP transformation projects:
- Several years of experience in SAP data migration projects and SAP S/4HANA transformations
- Knowledge of Lean Selective Data Transition (SDT) or comparable transformation methodologies
- Hands-on experience with SAP Migration Cockpit and data transfer processes
- Strong understanding of SAP business processes, particularly in FI/CO, MM, or SD modules
- Expertise in Business Partner conversion, CVI, data quality management, testing, and cutover execution
- Structured working approach with excellent communication and consulting capabilities
- German language proficiency required; role based in Deutschland
