Senior Project Manager – Digital Communications (all genders)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential digital services organization based in Bremen. We're seeking a Senior Project Manager specializing in digital communications to lead complex CMS-based projects and client relationships. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely across Germany or from the Bremen office.

You'll be at the intersection of technology, digital communications consulting, creative services, and content strategy—steering projects from concept through delivery while identifying growth opportunities with existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex digital implementation projects, maintaining control over scope, budget, quality, and timelines
• Lead CMS-based communication projects including websites, information platforms, and ongoing platform evolution and operations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams spanning technology, UX, design, content, and digital communications
• Work closely with clients to understand requirements and translate challenges into concrete project goals and deliverable solutions
• Identify new opportunities and development potential within existing client relationships, evolving projects beyond initial delivery
• Contribute project expertise to proposals, RFP responses, and pitch development
• Manage diverse stakeholders effectively, ensuring clarity and accountability even in complex project situations

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience managing digital implementation projects, ideally involving websites, information platforms, or CMS-based solutions
• A proactive approach to project management—you want to shape projects, solutions, and client relationships, not just administer them
• Strong client engagement skills with the ability to understand challenges, recognize potential, and develop fitting solutions alongside interdisciplinary teams
• Comfort collaborating with both technical teams and creative disciplines including communications, UX, design, and content
• Knowledge of both agile and traditional project methodologies with the flexibility to apply them appropriately (certifications are a plus but not required)
• Experience with public sector or public-adjacent organizations is ideal
• Completed degree or equivalent practical qualification
• Excellent German language skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder communication
• Experience in presales, business development, or proposal creation is beneficial but not mandatory
