About the Role
Within the Model Risk Management (MRM) organization, this position carries the internal title of Senior Lead Quantitative Analytics Specialist and leads advanced AI research initiatives across Wells Fargo. You will guide the design, development, and rigorous evaluation of Foundation Models, Agentic AI, and Generative AI systems—ensuring each is dependable, scalable, and ready for enterprise-grade demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead research and development efforts focused on Foundation Models, agent-based AI architectures, and generative systems.
- Define and apply evaluation frameworks that confirm AI models are robust, reliable, and able to scale across the business.
- Champion advanced AI programs that strengthen the firm's model risk practices and analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts and risk partners to translate emerging research into sound, production-ready solutions.
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in foundation models, agentic AI, and generative AI methods, paired with a strong quantitative analytics background.
- Demonstrated ability to lead AI research and model evaluation at a senior, hands-on level.
- Experience building or assessing AI systems for robustness and scalability, ideally in a regulated or high-stakes setting.
