Role Overview

As a Personal Banker at Wells Fargo, you are the primary point of contact for customers seeking financial solutions. You'll assess customer needs, recommend appropriate products—including checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and investment options—and guide clients through their financial decisions. Your role bridges customer service and sales, creating value for both the customer and the bank by deepening relationships and expanding account services.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess their banking and financial needs in a welcoming, professional manner
• Recommend appropriate Wells Fargo products and services tailored to individual customer situations
• Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and account services
• Open and maintain customer accounts with accuracy and compliance
• Educate customers on digital banking tools, mobile apps, and online services
• Cross-sell and up-sell Wells Fargo products to existing and new customers
• Maintain customer confidentiality and follow all banking regulations and security protocols
• Achieve sales and service targets while delivering exceptional customer experience

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a customer-first mindset
• Ability to communicate clearly about financial products and services
• Basic math and computer skills; proficiency with banking systems is a plus
• Sales ability and comfort discussing financial products and concepts
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial transactions
• Availability to work full-time hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed
