Senior Manager – Supply Management, Risk Management

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Manager for Supply Management and Risk Management at our Illinois Medical District location in Chicago. In this full-time role, you'll lead our commodity market risk strategy, working at the intersection of procurement, finance, and supply chain resilience to protect our competitive position.

About the Role

You'll own Sodexo's commodity market risk management, applying sophisticated risk management principles to our commodity exposure. Working alongside our finance team, you'll develop forecasting models, market price projections, and indices that guide strategic sourcing decisions. This is a leadership opportunity to shape how Sodexo quantifies, monitors, and mitigates risk across our global supply chain.

Core Duties

• Manage commodity market risk exposure and develop mitigation strategies
• Apply risk management frameworks to commodity markets to support pricing and market analysis
• Create market price forecasts and projections for internal planning and external stakeholder reporting
• Collaborate with finance to build indices and analytical models that inform procurement strategy
• Monitor commodity trends, market dynamics, and cost drivers impacting spend
• Present risk assessments and recommendations to leadership teams

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or commodity risk in large organizations
• Proven expertise in commodity risk assessment, forecasting, and market analysis
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency with financial modeling tools and supply chain platforms
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
• Experience coordinating across finance, operations, and procurement functions
