Sales Coordinator

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is hiring a Sales Coordinator to join our Newport News, Virginia team. In this full-time position, you'll support our sales operations and help deliver quality solutions to customers across construction, plumbing, HVAC, and industrial segments.

About This Position

As a Sales Coordinator at Ferguson, you'll be the operational backbone of our sales department, managing the flow of customer orders, inquiries, and information that keeps our team running smoothly. Working on-site in Newport News, you'll handle customer communication, coordinate orders with our distribution network, and provide administrative support that enables our sales professionals to focus on building relationships and closing deals. This role is your entry point into a Fortune 500 company founded in 1953 with a proven track record of making complex projects simple and successful for customers nationwide.

Your Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and route them through our distribution system to meet delivery timelines
• Respond to customer inquiries with product availability, pricing, and specification information
• Prepare sales quotes and proposals under guidance from the sales team
• Maintain organized records of customer accounts, orders, and transactions in our systems
• Coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams to track order status and resolve delays
• Generate reports and documentation that help the sales team monitor performance and customer needs
• Support special projects and initiatives that strengthen our customer relationships

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (some college coursework is a plus)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle competing priorities without losing focus
• Professional written and verbal communication for interacting with customers and teams
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and learning new order management or CRM software
• Customer-first attitude and commitment to accuracy in every transaction
• Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative sales team
• Willingness to grow your knowledge of products and industry standards
