Solution Designer II

About the Role

In this role you partner with sales, operations, and finance teams to translate client needs into actionable proposals. You help shape the pursuit pipeline by designing scalable models that address both immediate requirements and long‑term strategic goals.

What You'll Do

• Conduct discovery workshops with prospective and existing clients to uncover service gaps and opportunities.
• Develop detailed solution concepts, including menu concepts, staffing plans, and facility management frameworks.
• Create financial models and value‑based proposals that support bid responses, renewals, and new business pursuits.
• Collaborate with commercial finance to ensure pricing aligns with margin targets and customer budgets.
• Prepare clear, visual presentations and executive summaries for internal review and client delivery.
• Maintain a library of reusable solution templates and best‑practice guides for the team.
• Track the status of active pursuits and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, nutrition, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3‑5 years of experience in solution design, proposal development, or business development within foodservice, facilities management, or a related industry.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial modeling techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, comfortable speaking to both technical and executive audiences.
• Proven track record of working cross‑functionally with sales, operations, and finance to deliver winning proposals.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of healthcare or education market segments is a plus.
