About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential multinational organization seeking a Senior HR Generalist for a 2-year contract in Berlin. Our client requires a seasoned HR professional to deliver comprehensive personnel administration and employee lifecycle support across their German operations. You'll work within established frameworks while partnering with our talent team throughout the placement process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full employee lifecycle administration including onboarding, transfers, and separations in compliance with German regulations
  • Partner with recruitment teams to coordinate new hire onboarding and ensure seamless integration
  • Administer absence management, leave tracking, and coordinate documentation for payroll processing
  • Oversee training program coordination and support performance evaluation initiatives
  • Implement and localize HR policies while maintaining compliance with local employment law
  • Process international relocations and transfers, including visa applications and payroll transitions
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity (Workday experience preferred) and employee file accuracy
  • Generate standard HR reports covering turnover, benefits utilization, and workforce metrics
  • Administer benefits programs in accordance with German statutory requirements and company policies
  • Provide operational HR support on employee relations matters including grievances and disciplinary procedures
  • Deliver day-to-day HR guidance to employees and managers on policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 4 years of HR generalist experience within a multinational environment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Human Resources or related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for data management and reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
  • Working knowledge of German benefits and compensation frameworks
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail with proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities
