Responsibilities
Our client, a confidential creative agency in Berlin, is seeking a Head of Production to lead both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of their production function. In this role, you will:
- Develop and refine production processes, standards, and workflows to support scalable, high-quality output
- Lead and mentor the production team, providing professional development, feedback, and maintaining quality benchmarks
- Serve as Producer on select projects, ensuring creative vision, quality, budget, and timeline align seamlessly
- Design and implement an AI-enabled production system in collaboration with internal technical teams, determining optimal use cases and integration points
- Prepare fixed-price production estimates, safeguard margins, and allocate budgets for maximum impact
- Build and manage a network of external production partners for premium projects, ensuring they meet internal quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Substantial experience producing social media and connected TV content, with end-to-end process knowledge from concept through final delivery
- Proven track record leading and developing production teams, including setting direction, delivering feedback, and upholding quality standards
- Deep understanding of how to build efficient, sustainable production systems and workflows
- Hands-on experience with AI-enabled production and post-production tools and processes
- Strategic perspective on when to deploy AI solutions, hybrid approaches, or fully human-driven production methods
- Structured working style with strong decision-making abilities and skill coordinating internal and external stakeholders
- Based in Berlin with native-level German and professional fluency in English
